Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 2026-05-17.

Brightscale Labs Limited is committed to making FitMetricLab usable for as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technology. This statement describes our current conformance, known issues, and how to report problems.

Conformance status

FitMetricLab aims for WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. Calculators are built as static HTML forms first, with progressive enhancement — page layout, navigation, and content reading work without JavaScript, though performing a calculation requires JavaScript to be enabled.

We test pages with keyboard navigation, sufficient colour contrast, semantic headings, and labelled form controls. Each calculator input has an associated visible label and an HTML label association rather than placeholder-only labelling.

Technical specifications

Accessibility of FitMetricLab relies on the following technologies working with the combination of web browser and any assistive technology installed on your device:

Assessment approach

Brightscale Labs Limited assessed FitMetricLab against WCAG 2.1 AA using a combination of automated audit tools (Lighthouse, axe-core), manual keyboard walkthroughs, and screen-reader spot-checks. We do not currently hold a third-party accessibility certification; if and when we commission one, this statement will be updated to reflect the result.
